Welcome to the North Cornwall Cluster website

The North Cornwall Cluster includes the six churches of St Endellion, St Enodoc, St James the Great at St Kew, St Michael's at Porthilly, St Minver and St Peter's in Port Isaac. These are historic and beautiful churches in one of the most beautiful and sought after parts of Cornwall, and many visitors sense that in entering them - coming in off the beach or golf course, or having stopped at a local inn or just paused for a moment’s peace on holiday – that they have chanced upon holy ground. And we are not only 'churches’ but People! We are blessed by the clergy, Readers, Churchwardens and others who are here.

We love being here, and we hope that whether you live here, or are with us for a short while on holiday, you will enrich our worship and our sense of holy and loving community by joining us. You would be very welcome, just as you are, and equally welcome if you are one of those who prefers to be in church when noone else is there! In one sense we are like a thousand other quiet country churches, but we have a passion in our lives to seek after God and even to know him, to explore the meaning of faith today, and to be of use to our fellow men, women and children as companions on a journey.

Our churches share a special sense of mission through the Arts & Spirituality. It is not only that God is Beauty, and that through the Arts we can find glimpses of transcendence, but we also believe that the Arts can be a source of healing, a means of sharing and deepening our faith and indeed of celebrating our stories with each other.

Please contact us if you think we may be able to help you in any way, or if you require information regarding baptisms, weddings or funerals at any of our churches. We also have two groups of Lay Pastoral Ministers whose vocation is to share the pastoral ministry with the clergy.

St Enodoc needs your help!

St Enodoc has suffered the ravages of the weather and time.  Sadly, some earlier attempts at repair have used inappropriate materials and techniques which have tended to make matters worse.
A specialist surveyor’s report has been obtained which describes the many problems in detail and a schedule of repair has been drawn up; the report can be viewed at St Enodoc Church.

Can you Help?

The easiest way is to make a donation but you could take a more active role by holding a fund raising event.  This could be a Coffee Morning, Car Boot Sale, Garden Opening or Promises Auction etc. If you are interested in holding an event please contact the Fund Raising Committee on 01208 862543 and we will do everything we can to assist you.

Donations can be made by cheque payable to the St Enodoc Appeal and sent to:

The Chapel Warden of St Enodoc Church, Brayfield, Trebetherick, Wadebridge, Cornwall PL27 6SG.

If you fill in and return the Gift Aid form we will be able to reclaim the tax on your donation which will make it even more valuable to the appeal.
